Thanks to Carter Crowe and all participants in Saturday’s rowing workshop. The fifteen athletes in attendance learned and practiced the nuances of animal starts, hitting the stride, finding rhythm and control in the base and bringing it home with the lift*. We celebrated PRs that showed improvements from tenths of a second to some that were over 3 seconds faster. CFM athletes in attendance were David B, David H, Ali, Megan, John, Dusty, Gaby and her husband Kevin, Peter and brother Mike, Kolby, and Kristin’s husband Bill. Ron’s sister Karen, who is a CrossFitter at Precision in Agoura and 2 coaches from CrossFit Los Angeles, Adam and Matt joined in for the training. If you missed out on it this time around- *Carter will be back around to teach this and other rowing-related workshops in the future.
