Tuesday 150421 Four Round Triplet

In the series of pictures below we see Priscilla in various stages of the power clean.  As an early member of CrossFit Malibu- she has been working on barbell movements for about 5 years- making progress over time.  She has become stronger, more powerful and increasingly more skilled.  Not that she is new to physical activity or sport- she has played tennis, been an active runner, cyclist, and cross-country skier for much of her life.  Recently she has tried out standup paddling and I bet if you asked her to try out a new sport or activity… she would be up for it!  As a professor of sports medicine with an interest in motor learning, development and control… there is a link between her profession in teaching and intellectual curiosity.  She consistently wonders and hypothesizes about movement, how it is taught and how it can be improved.  Again, this is a testament not just to her physical abilities and interests… but to your passion as a teacher.  It just so happens that CrossFit Malibu is also a laboratory for her as well.  Not coincidentally, three of her former students happen to own and run CrossFit Malibu… maybe you know them?

25 KB swings (24/18kg American)
300/250m row
