Monday 150302 Jerk AMRAP 15 Min

Monday and Wednesday Night Strength focus for the month of March is “Pushes and Pulls”… think: dips and pull ups (or other bodyweight pushing/pulling), push jerks and cleans, Romanian deadlifts and bent over barbell rows.  Movements that pair well together because they complement each other in terms of mechanics patterning.  Also, lots of accessory work as well.  6pm as usual!
It isn’t too late to sign up for the CrossFit Games Open (registration and input of 15.1/15.1a results deadline is Monday at 5pm PST).  Get in now and ensure that you are part of all the action for the remaining 4 weeks of the event.  Scaled or Rx- don’t matter at all- as long as you get in there and go for it.  We would love help with judging AND each athlete in each heat needs an ASSISTANT.   A person who can cheer them on, do some motivation and coaching, help with advice and counting reps during the WOD, set up their equipment and clean up after them immediately following their WOD.  This will help the athlete and it will facilitate smooth logistics and a neat and tidy playing field.  This goes for all classes on Friday morning and evening, Friday Night Lights beginning at 5:55pm, and Saturday at the 8:45am final session.
Congratulations to Alex Colby– who has trained with us in past years and is now going to school full time at Mammoth High- with this recent first place finish will be headed to the junior national championships. Trevor is back with us… so be sure to congratulate him too!

10 butterfly sit ups
15 KB swings (32/24kg full swings)
Post rounds and remaining reps to chalkboard/journals)
