Thursday 150226 Row and Burpees

For the next 5 weeks there will not be a formal 5pm mobility class… instead we are all going to hang out and watch TV.  Well, strictly speaking we will be airing the weekly CrossFit Games Open announcement and the competition WOD that follows.  This week come join us is hearing about the first WOD for the 2015 Competition Season and then watch lost time CFGames champion Rich Froning battle it out at Reebox Headquarters in Boston against last year’s second place finisher Matt Frasier.  Come for the 4pm WOD and stick around to mobilize and watch the show.  Come for the 5pm screening and then stick around for the 6pm WOD.  Either way- try and make it in to watch and to discuss your strategery for “15.1”
Regarding the Thursday WOD programming… it will ALWAYS be a typically programmed CrossFit WOD.  Rowing and burpees for max reps can be crushing.  For those of you getting ready for 15.1 on Friday morning (or evening for that matter) you should consider scaling back your effort to make this a pre-workout for the competition WOD.  Be wise about what you do the day before and the day of your Open WOD performances!

Thurs- 6, 7, 9am, 4, 6pm WODs, FUNdamentals 8am, 5pm Open Viewing “Party”
Handstand skill work and practice

Four rounds each for max reps in 3 minutes with 4 minutes rest of:
Row 400/325m
(Even rounds) Max rep burpees w lateral jump over abmat
(Odd rounds) 10 abmat sit ups, then max rep push ups
Post total number of burpees/total number of push ups to chalkboard
