Thursday 150205 OHS then Snatch/Burpee

Coming events: 
Friday February 13th at 5pm is the Deadlift/BBQ.  This will mark the halfway point of the current Whole Life Challenge so you are encouraged to bring any WLC compliant dish to share with a few people.  The grill is fired up at 5pm so that we can eat and watch the 5pm lifters hit some PRs!  As always- the WOD for all classes that day is heavy deadlifts- those with experience will be setting personal records and those who are new will practice technique and work up with some weight at higher reps.

Sunday February 15th at 7am is the Point Dume Sprint Triathlon– Winter Edition
Come by and cheer on the 10 athletes as they attempt to set records on a course.  There are 4 others who are racing for the first time.  Following the race we head out to brunch- so come join us!

Winter parking reminder: during the 5 and 6pm classes ONLY- you are encouraged to park up front and close to the Hut.  On the asphalt next to the mats in the parking stalls is fine.  It is pitch black by the time your classes finish- better to park close instead of out on Cross Creek.  **Make sure you drive out of the Yard before the coach after the last class so that you do not get locked in!

Thursday 6, 7, 9am, 4, 6pm WODs.  FUNdamentals 8am, Mobility 5pm.
Overhead squat
15 minutes to work up to a heavy 3 rep set
-then-
10 rounds for time of:
hang power snatch, 2 reps
Lateral jump barbell burpees, 3 reps
Post load and time to chalkboard.
