CrossFit Malibu Yoga/meditation/CrossFit Getaway in Ojai

Spend 2 nights and 3 days at Villa Ojai Retreat just up the 101 in Ojai- about one hour away.  We will have class sessions of yoga/meditation/CrossFit and a hiking outing, special talks relating to mindfulness, physical activity and health/fitness, good food along with Friday and Saturday night BBQs, and of course- wonderful community members to round out the atmosphere- all in the outdoorsy and relaxing surroundings of Ojai.  We have been looking for ideas and locations for this event, and serendipitously- the owner of the retreat center, Darryl, joined CFM and then an event he had scheduled there cancelled last minute for that weekend.  SO – we decided to fill the slot.  There are group rooms, private rooms, a separate guesthouse, and more spartan accommodations reserved for students needing to save money. Pricing for the weekend including lodging, paleo-friendly meals and classes is as follows:
Private room with en suite bath – $375 per person (these are limited)

Semi-private room with shared bath – $295 pp

Dorm-like accommodations (think sleeping bags/thermarests in a large bunkhouse with a shared bathroom) – $180 pp

Plan to arrive Friday between noon and 5PM for an evening WOD, dinner and opening discussion.  The event will close on Sunday at 1PM, following morning yoga, meditation, a WOD and lunch.  That said, this is a long weekend… and there is a possibility for an extended night from Sunday to Monday if people are interested.

Anyone interested should let us know right away so that we can continue planning the event. There will be a sign up list at the Hut today… write your name down if you’d like to come.  A commitment in form of deposit of 50% is needed by September 24th to reserve your space.  This can be done in the form of cash, check or charge to CrossFit Malibu.
