Thanks for coming out and taking part in our 3rd Anniversary WOD yesterday. Most likely it was the largest attended Tuesday since opening. Here’s to many many more. Jason and Ken complete the anniversary WOD for the first time. Lee did it for the second time since joining us and took more than 3 minutes off his previous PR- going at it Rx both times.

Lots of deadlift PRs this month… due to movie night and the BBQ! We should have those more often… it would invariably result in MORE 1RM deadlift PRs. Check the PR whiteboard for a new category listed-particularly those of you who did “Quarters” yesterday for our anniversary. That WOD is now listed on the PR board. Hope you work with us long enough to do “Quarters” again on our 4th anniversary next September.
Wednesday’s WOD: classes at 7, 9, 10am and again at 5pm. Strength class at 6pm.
Every minute on the minute, for ten minutes of:
Max rep power snatch in 30 seconds
4 bar facing burpees
Post total number of power snatches and load used to journals/chalkboards.
All 4 bar facing burpees must be finished before the top of the minute or athlete must skip 30 second bout of snatches in upcoming round. Athlete must still complete that round’s burpees in the alloted time to continue in the following round.
