Here is our friend from Michigan, Ben, cranking out 98kg on the bench during the deadlift strength final last night. I think he got 13 reps at this weight. To add to the excitement of the evening… he did his first muscle ups as well! He has dedicated a few minutes of each training session to some technique work on the rings (we KNOW he has the foundational strength) and just 2 weeks later… he’s got some muscle ups! Congrats Ben and great work. Remember that Ben finishes up his month at CrossFit Malibu this week when he returns to Michigan… make sure you say adios by the 30th. Calvin will be moving out to Valencia to begin his MFA at CalArts- but we hope to have him drive into town for our Summer Fest on July 9th and CrossFit Games Party at the Fishbowl on July 30th.

With a continuously running clock do one pull-up the first minute, two pull-ups the second minute, three pull-ups the third minute… continuing as long as you are able.
Use as many sets each minute as needed.
Post number of pull up rounds and fastest and slowest 40 m run times to journals/chalkboard.
