The picture below represents 3 different ways to do modified handstand pushups. Greg is on the barbell using some assistance as his legs help pull up some of his bodyweight. Kristin, with knees on the 16″ box, increases the range of motion requirement by using parallettes. Dani is up on the wall using an abmat on the ground to slightly decrease the range. A few others used additional scaling variations including band assisted HSPUs. Incorporate the parallettes into some warmups- doing dips, pushups and HSPUs… but maybe not right away today!
